NEW RELEASE

Coming SOON pre-order is available.

DESCRIPTION

With the new SB-3290SG servo from SAVOX, the Taiwanese manufacturer Savöx has once again achieved a revolution in servo technology. The newly developed 8-pole brushless motor of this monster not only ensures a lower weight (72 grams) compared to the SB-2290SG (81 grams), but also more power and significantly lower heat generation. After 5 minutes of operation, it remains up to 20% cooler than its predecessor, the SB-2290SG. This significant improvement means that the servo delivers maximum power for much longer and the model feels significantly harder, more direct and more precise.

The SB-3290SG is significantly quieter thanks to the latest technology and is hardly noticeable during normal operation. The well-known “beeping” of the digital servos has been almost eliminated without having to accept any disadvantages.

Especially in extreme flights with high loads, there is a performance boost that is second to none. The completely new motor design with the newly developed 32-bit MCU (Motor Control Unit) brings with it many advantages that offer ambitious 3D and aerobatic pilots new possibilities in flight.
In comparison, the quiescent current of the SB-3290SG is approx. 80mA, whereas the SB-2290SG requires approx. 250mA.

The lower weight is particularly advantageous for large models in the 25kg limit. If the SB-3290SG is installed in the elevator, 9 grams per servo are clearly noticeable, making it easier to find the ideal center of gravity.

The SB-3290SG was tested and tested over months in countless tests by the best pilots in Germany and improved step by step until we got to a point where we can talk about a real revolution instead of just product maintenance!

In order to make individual wiring easier, the negative pole of the cable is no longer completely black as is the case with the SB-2290SG, it is now gray and therefore easier to distinguish.

Of course, the SB-3290SG has a soft start, i.e. the servo slowly moves to the desired position as soon as voltage is applied/the receiver is switched on.

The SB-3290SG is suitable for use in helicopters, RC cars and fixed-wing models. In the near future, the patented SB-329X series will be expanded to include additional servo types.

The torque of this monster leaves nothing to be desired, here are the technical details for 6, 7.4 and 8.4V

6V = 50kg*cm with a travel time of 0.16s/60°
7.4V = 65kg*cm with a travel time of 0 .13s/60°
8.4V = 75kg*cm with a positioning time of 0.11s/60°

Control frequency up to 333Hz, center pulse 1520us

Like all HV servos from Savöx, the SB-3290SG can of course be operated with up to 8.4V!

Scope of delivery: Servo including aluminum servo lever (SH-81) and fastening screws.

Installation instructions for SH-8X lever:

Please first tighten the two screws to clamp the gear rim evenly. The M2.5 screw is then installed to secure the lever. If this sequence is ignored, the lever can be over-tightened!

Possible application examples: For large aircraft, RC cars, scale helicopters/large models
